This task provides the opportunity for a more scholarly exploration of a topic relevant to the mental health field of practice. You may devise your own topic in consultation with the teaching staff or select from the suggested topics provided on LMS.
You will submit a clearly written 2500 word piece that:
• Identifies the topic/issue under consideration and highlights it relevance to the field of practice
• Presents a rigorous and critical review of the relevant literature
• Demonstrates a theoretical understanding of the issue
• Identifies practical, political and personal implications for social work practice
