You are ready to prepare your first draft of your project presentation for your boss. You have your outline and advice from your teammates about the preliminary outcomes of the analysis of the data that have helped you form your recommendation for the cost-reduction initiatives that your boss has asked you to identify.

The presentation is the Key Assignment that you will submit in Unit 5. You must submit the first draft now in Unit 4. You must be sure to include the following elements that will help your boss understand your process and final analysis.

The following are the elements to be included in the draft.

Your PowerPoint presentation must be 10-12 slides (not including the title, table of contents, abstract, or reference slides) with presenter notes (150-200 words per slide).

Submit the assignment in the assignment folder. Include the following:Table of Contents Abstract Background of department and any historical data (NOTE: Your boss is new to your department, so you should provide some highlights and trends.)

Industry highlights and trends (Include results of any research from other companies in similar situations.) Background of SAS, data analytics, and data mining concepts and tools that you used and description, in layman's terms, with examples for your boss (Discuss why you used them, and provide examples of other companies that have used them. Refer to the Unit 1 Individual Assignment for concepts to include here.)

Your preliminary data analysis findings using at least 2 graphs and tables (Be sure to explain your graphs and the tables in the presenter notes.) An explanation of your conclusions Summary (Summarize your recommendations to your boss.) Recommendations of next steps and, if recommendations are accepted, suggest implementation.

Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:

1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.

2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.

3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
