Definition of Work Study: it, as defined by British Standard Institution, is a generic form for those techniques mainly 'Method Study' and 'Work Measurement' that are used in the examination of human work in all its contexts and that lead systematically to the investigation of all the factors that affect the efficiency of the situation being reviewed, so as to seek improvements.
