• Define diversity as it relates to the workplace
• Explain the value that diversity adds to the workplace
• Articulate personal understanding of the term "social construction," especially as it relates to race and gender
• Discuss thought processes related to stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination, and theories related to diversity in organizations
• Explain what organizations can do to promote diversity and inclusion, based on the knowledge of the reasons for differential treatment, experiences, and outcomes for different demographic groups
