Explain the economics of the deal marcus struck

Assignment

Case Study- CNBC show The Profit. Season 1 Episode 4 "Eco-Me" Watch the episode (the following link should work but episode can also be found on Youtube or CNBC) and complete a 2-3 page paper (double spaced) answering questions that Professor will post on Canvas at the beginning of the week.

Find the questions to Case Study two! I hope you enjoy the format of this case study as I certainly understand that learning from different formats (ie reading, audio, video) can be richer and more effective. I personally recommend watching other episodes of The Profit as Marcus Lemonis (who's from Miami by the way) is an experienced entrepreneur and offers great insight into business strategy from a more practical, less academic perspective.

1) Describe the economics of the deal Marcus struck with the owner of the business? Would you have accepted if you were the owner? What would you have done differently (from either side)?

2) Provide a description of the condition of the business when Marcus arrived? (organizationally, operationally, and financially)

3) Marcus uses a "three P's" approach when evaluating and turning around a business - product, process, and people. Describe why and how he is changing any of the three P's at Eco-Me.

Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:

1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.

2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.

3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
