Explain how to motivate student to follow career path

Suppose that you have been invited to speak to the assembly, athletic team meeting or other group at former high school. You are talking about career and what you have got. Because we are in realm of fantasy, we suppose they paid your expenses to make trip, and you were given release time from job. Cost is not issue.

After your speech, principal comes up to thank you. Principal then says, "We are worried about Larry (or Linda, if you prefer).

"Larry is high school junior. He is from broken home, does not like rules, likes to cut class and has no idea what he wishes to do. He is healthy and has above-average IQ: your classic underachiever. He is now running around with "friends" who are motivating him to get into trouble and drop out of school.

Write persuasive letter, 400-800 words, motivating student to follow career path. Write this student persuasive letter presenting 3 solid reasons to select friends wisely and stay out of trouble, based on experience. For instance: "Larry, if you wish to be corporate executive, you require to stay in school, create interpersonal skills and learn how to dress for success." Then you would have paragraph on each. You would raise one objection, like the requirement to start at bottom, and defuse this objection.
