Employees should be willing to accept the responsibility of becoming a top executive prior to even being considered. It may take a company upwards of five years or more to groom middle managers into top executives. Knowing that this is true, do you believe that the identified middle managers are told this years in advance? If so, doesn't this border the legalities surrounding nepotism and other labor laws?
