Final Argumentative essay topic:
Wealth disparity refers to the unequal distribution of resources in different regions. The unequal distribution of assets among residents is the major contributor of classism, and increased poverty in the regions characterized by this aspect. On the other hand, adult illiteracy also affects the society to a great extent (Kendall, 2010). Adult education levels have since increased. Illiteracy leads to inefficiency in the society and more so, an increase in the gap between the rich and the poor. First, the fact that one of the topics causes a problem which is tackled with the other topic is a criterion to use while singling out the research topic to be used. Secondly, the topic on wealth disparity is wider as compared to adult education. Although both focus on global societal issues, they are totally different in terms of content and their influence on the entire society.
To determine if a source is scholarly and credible, there is a need to determine whether the author writing the source is respected in his or her field of study. There is also need to consider ho recent the source is and the purpose of the author in writing the source.
Wealth disparity has been a major controversial issue over the year. Considering the fact that this aspect affects the global platform, it should not be in any way, shunned. The two articles which support my claims include an analysis of the data and theories in relation to poverty levels among different communities and more so, the different aspects which cause wealth disparity among societies, nations and the international community as a whole.
Scholarly sources are extremely important in supporting my writing on the selected topics. For instance, there is a need to provide tangible evidence as to how the information provided was obtained (Kendall, 2010). The use of scholarly sources helps understand academic standards, use discretion with all websites and more so, maintain ethics in research works.
