Examine the diagram below.  It describes (black arrows) how the three types of influence we have learned about can interact with each other over ontogenic time (aka dev. of an individual organism over time).  Describe a possible real-life scenario where one might find this kind of interaction.  Be sure to label (as in example) the type of influence/event to which you refer. 

Starter ideas:

- Sexuality and aging, including socio-cultural changes

- Cognitive ability in adulthood

- Mental health/well-being

- Same-sex relationship, parenting, etc.

(Here’s an example:  Later marriage, leads to women of a generation having babies later (History-graded).  This interacts with the normal period of pre-menopausal changes (Age-graded) to create situations that are non-normative (“extreme” multiples, eg triplets/quads due to fertility treatments); extreme endometriosis that can be painful and cause infertility, etc. )
