Overview:

The purpose of this project is to give you an opportunity to examine and assess how management practices change over time, sometimes even within the same organization. Within the paper you are to discuss the evolution of a specific company's practices in planning, organizing, leadership, and control. The project is to be completed during Weeks 7-11.

Week7: Write an introduction and discuss why you choose this particular organization.
Week 8: Prepare a summary of your research.
Week 9: Prepare a summary of some type of primary data.
Week 10: Write a draft of the paper.
Week 11: Revise the draft using input from both your instructor and your peers and submit the finalized version.

Project Details:
Design your report for an adult audience using a formal academic writing style. The paper must follow all APA formatting requirements including the requirements for in-text citations and references. Information on Using APA is available in your Course Materials folder.

Team Research Project: Part II Instructions:
Your goal for this week's assignment is to capture information about resources - books, articles, websites and the like - that you may want to use when you sit down to write your paper. Because your paper is about the organization's management practices you will, in addition to information about the organization itself, want to identify management resources about planning, organizing, leadership, and control. Record basic information about the resource (author, title, publisher, date, etc.) that will help you prepare your reference list. Also, you will want to capture notes about what the author says (content) and whether or not you think this resource is a work of quality (assessing the credibility).

1. Identify at least six quality resources (books, periodicals, websites, etc.) that address the history, background, and overview of the company and the behavior you are examining.

2. Prepare a one to two (1-2) paragraph annotation for each of your six sources. Your annotation should include a description of the information provided within the resource and an evaluation of its quality and/or credibility. The source citation must follow the guidelines established in the APA style guide. Post your annotated bibliography to your Small Group Discussion Forum no later than Wednesday at 11:55 P.M. (CST).

3. As a group, evaluate the annotations produced by each member and, using these lists, compile one annotated bibliography for group submission.
