Customer Complaint Survey

1. Enter equations and references in the designated boxes unless a constant value is given.

2. Use all 20 Stores to calculate the control limits

3. In the Process Control box (B42) use the Excel IF statement to determine if any single point indicates an out of control condition. If a data point falls above the upper control limit or falls below the lower control limit display the words "Out of Control", otherwise display the word "OK". (You may want to use the MAX function)

4. The testing software will change the data and evaluate all values.

5. Construct a P-chart using an Excel line graph.

(Remember. a Chartsheet is not a Spreadsheet with a chat.)

a. The graph must have the upper and lower control limits displayed. Use control limits with ± three standard errors.

b. The p-bar line must be displayed as a Black Thin line (2.5 line width).

c. The proportion of complaints for each store (complaint rate) line must be displayed as a Blue Thick line (at least 4 point) with Circle style markers with a White background and a Blue foreground.

d. Specify the graph title appropriately

e. Properly label the X axis and Y axis.

f. Change the location of the graph to a ChartSheet named "Pchart". Include no spaces in the name. (Note: an Excel Chartsheet is not the same thing as an Excel Worksheet.) If the Chartsheet is incorrectly named the grading software will not see your graph. Also, for quality control considerations make sure the spelling is correct.

1. Enter only equations in the designated boxes. For A2, D3, and D4, you must reference the appropriate cells in the Control Chart Constants table.

2. Use all 24 samples to calculate the control limits

3. The testing software will change the data and evaluate all values.

4. Construct an Xbar chart and a R chart with proper upper and lower control limits. Plot each of the samples using Excel line graphs.

a. The graphs must have the upper and lower control limits displayed as Red Dashed Thick lines (at least 4 point width and 'dash' style).

b. The mean line for each graph must be displayed as a Black Thin line (2.5 line width).

c. The average package weight line (Xbar) and average package weight range line (R) must be displayed as a Thick Blue line (at least 4 point) with Circle style markers with a White background and a Blue foreground.

d. Specify the graph titles appropriately.

e. Properly label the X axis and Y axis for each graph.

f. Change the location of the corresponding graphs to a ChartSheet named "XbarChart" and "RChart". Include no spaces in the name. If the charts are not spelled correctly then you will not receive credit for the chart.
