Effectively answering one's research question requires the development of research variables through which a hypothesis can be evaluated. Using the course reading assignments and open source research, identify two qualities of good research variables. Why do these characteristics improve the overall research design and its outcomes? What are common mistakes that can be made when selecting a research variable in a study?
