Does this organization encourage positive organizational

1:Does this organization encourage positive Organizational Behavior? and if so how?

I think that is one of the reasons that Google is so very successful is that it has such an effective organizational culture and structure. They are the leaders in innovation and definetly promote a positive organizational behavior.
what are some of yall's thoughts?

2:t's really hard to motivate your employees if your not motivated. I've been there a number of times and I can tell you that when I'm not motivated, my team is not motivated. Negativity spreads quickly and we need to be very careful expressing our discontent and lack of motivation to our team. How do you prevent yourself from showing negativity to your team?

3:In small organizations keeping a positive organizational behavior culture is easier than in a large organization. In a small organization its up to the couple of people on how they keep a positive organizational culture. In a large organization its not that easy. Its up to a number of people, who look at things differently and are not as close to the employees as they would be in a small organization. So how would you keep a positive organizational behavior in a large organization?

4:I would have teams of employees and allow them to share ideas and get to know each other. I would also rotate these teams so that everybody gets a chance to meet and work with everyone. I would also have corporate events that bring togetherness and unity. I would make sure that everyones ideas are rewarded and would make sure that everyone in the organization feels like they belong and has meaningful work that contributes not only to their paycheck but to societal good as well.

5:I have enjoyed reading this chapter and I think it is a great resource to build on organizational structure. We have all heard or read somewhere that positivity helps reduce stress.

What is interesting is if we know this and it has been a proven fact, why do we have such a difficult time doing it, if at all? I cannot speak for everyone else but, at times I find it hard to be positive especially when negative things are happening. On page 227, it talks about having multiple positives for every negative and I took note of that because it is something I will begin to do each day.

Some people are pros at mastering their emotions and being positive in the face of every challenge humanly possible. In my lifetime, I have run into ONE person (just 2 years ago) that was genuinely positive and I learned a lot from him. Others I have met are not very good at hiding their true emotion.

They put on a smile, and they talk about being positive but I can tell it is not genuine and something else is happening with them. However, the reading goes on to talk about how even the strongest positive person feels disappointments and that's what made me realize that life happens to everyone and its about how you choose to deal with it.
