Providers are seen in every circumstance in healthcare. Without this key customer being on board with the organization, it will be a continuous problem. The provider is in a situation where they could be in private practice or working for the organization. Their differences in upholding the mission may be driven by cost of care and medical insurance. Private providers also have difficulty maintaining schedules for on call when they could be providing care for patients in the private sector at a better reimbursement. Hospital hired providers may be feel they are being taken advantage due to their heavy schedules and inability to subsidize their finances with private patients (Hockey and Bates, 2010).
