Do you use in text citations in powerpoint


Assignment Task: I am an older online student attending college for the first time.  I don't have a classroom setting to listen to other student's questions, nor am I able to ask and receive an immediate response. Unfortunately, I am a bit lost when doing certain things on the computer & I am in desperate need of some resources that can help with a PowerPoint presentation.

Questions I would need any resource to help with are:

1. About how many pages is 8 slides equivalent to? (so I can gauge how much information I might need)

2. Am I supposed to utilize charts, tables, lists, images, etc if the professor said I may? (will it hurt my grade if I don't?)

3. Do you use in text citations in PowerPoint?

4. What is the best way to start an outline to know what information to put on each slide?

5. I am not to use the note section or narrate my presentation (what does that even mean?)

I apologize for all of this, but I am completely lost with no one to ask for help. Can someone at least point me in a direction to get this done? I've been trying to figure it out on my own for 4 days now. Thank you for your time, it is greatly appreciated.
