Distance education learning component


This course uses a distance education learning component that has the students interact with students in China. It also explores the psychological, social and political impressions that are left upon the student when conversing with a student from the Chinese culture. The purpose of this course is to facilitate discussions and promote diversity among the workplace and an educational setting. In addition, students will be able to solve problems by overcoming certain barriers that will allow them to accomplish their professional work and educational projects.

Instruction:

This is a special course specifically designed to introduce students to distance education with other students from a different culture. Instruction methods include: lecture from instructor within the United States, discussion with students from China, and guest speakers when applicable.

Additionally, for research purposes there will be a pre and post assessment. You have the option to complete it, but we strongly recommend that you do. This data will assist James Loken with research he is conducting for his thesis.
