Assignment Task:
Describe the activities, learning objectives and materials needed for a single day in a morning half-day preschool program (3-hours) that is learning about the importance of personal dental health.
You must include activities for Circle Time including the title of the story that you would read to the children and the finger play song that you would sing.
Assume that you must have dental health activities for Art, Math and Science throughout the morning period.
Please think about the Teacher's Role during these activities.
Describe the open-ended questions that you would ask during each individual activity.
You should use the Head Start Curriculum that you read in this section as a guide.
Put your Lesson Plan in a chart format so that it is easy for other people to follow. If a substitute teacher was filling in for you on this day, he or she should be able to follow your chart and do these activities with the children in your absence.
