Discusses the use of english in todays popular music

Problem 1. English has gradually emerged as a global language in business, science, scholarship, and even popular music.  For example, to attract a global audience, musicians often record in English even if English isn't their native language: Shakira, Celine Dion, Bad Bunny, ABBA, etc.  In YouTube or some other web source find and post a link to an example of a musician or musical group recording in English rather than their native language.  Is this a case of cultural imperialism?

In addition to the YouTube link, but sure to provide a link to a website or article that discusses the use of English in today's popular music.

Problem 2. Although the Earth is largely covered in water, access to fresh water is a major concern in many places around the world, particularly as human population grows.  For thousands of years, societies developed innovative ways to store fresh water or redirect and transfer it from one place to another to support human populations.  In some places, fresh water is so scarce that salt is desalinized or wastewater purified so that it can be used.

For a variety of reasons, including global climate change, some areas are experiencing sudden, longer, and more severe droughts.  Please read NYTimes-How Bad Is the Western Drought-2022-02-14.pdf  about the current drought in the American Southwest.

Do some research in the web to find a photograph, articles, website, or example of a way states or cities in the American Southwest and West are trying to address droughr conditions.  This may be an innovation in retention/storage, transfer, desalinization, reuse, or purification for human consumption or agriculture.
