Being aware of how our own cultural competence informs our experiences and perceptions is essential when involved in a helping relationship. Read and complete Exercise 2.6, "Appraise Your Ability to Work With Diversity," on page 25 in your Exercises in Helping Skills: A Manual to Accompany The Skilled Helper text.
