You are the manager of a key department in a large corporation. You have surveyed your employees to learn more about what they value and what is important to them in the workplace. Below are two employees who have presented you with a list of their workplace priorities. Items are listed in order, with the benefits at the top of the list being more important, and the benefits further down on the list being less important.

Use your imagination to determine two ways that you might motivate each employee. Be creative. Explain why you think your motivators would be effective for each employee.

Now that you have decided on the type of business that you would like to establish, it's now time to think about building your work teams. Businesses frequently hire and organize employees into teams to accomplish goals. Strong work teams can contribute immensely to the productivity and success of the organization. Strong leadership is needed to ensure that the team is motivated and focused on the goals. Team members must understand their purpose and have a clear vision of how that purpose fits with the company's needs.

For this portion of your project, you will need to do the following:
• Discuss the types of mangers that your business will need.

• What types of teams will they need to manage in order to positively impact the business?

• Discuss why it will be important to make sure that the teams are diverse? What will be the benefits to having diversity within your work teams?

• Describe the diverse make up of your work teams.

• Why will it be important for team members to contribute their ideas and positively contribute to organizational projects and tasks?

• Your essay should be at least 2 pages in length. You should include an APA formatted title page.
