I would like to discuss the environmental impact of fossil fuels and more companies and users going towards Electric Vehicles (EV). What positive and negative impacts will EV have on the environment and the financial impact. Is the world's infrastructure ready for EV?
Researching this will help educate us on the different impact of each source of energy for not only vehicles but homes as well.

The Biology in the Real World (BIRW) project is an individual project of your choosing that is completed in stages over the course of the term. Through this project, you will engage in learning biology in such a way that this course becomes a positive component of your undergraduate experience - a part that is not only a stepping stone to a degree but also enriches your life. You may or may not become a scientist but as a responsible citizen and an educated consumer you will have to make decisions regarding scientific information, whether at the voting booth or the grocery story check-out line. This project will help you make those decisions wisely by cultivating an interest in science that continues beyond this assignment, enabling you to think critically and creatively as a citizen of the world.
The BIRW project is designed to allow you to demonstrate achievement of a fundamental Learning Outcomes for this course: Explain and demonstrate the scientific method.
There are many ways that you can engage in real-world biology. If you're unsure at any stage of your project, reach out to your instructor. Your instructor can help ensure your focus is not too narrow or too broad, but on target.
The proposal is the first deliverable in the BIRW project. This project is completed in three stages, which includes your proposal, draft, and the final project. Please review the Biology in the Real World Project information for a complete description, including expectations and potential projects.
The proposal is a summary of what you plan to do, how you plan to do it, and how it ties in with this course and your own life.
Your proposal should include the following details
• A short summary of the proposed project.
• Clearly identify your deliverable for the draft/final (remember, reports are not acceptable deliverables).
• A timeline identifying major milestones (e.g. complete initial research. interview date, etc.) and anticipated completion dates.
• A bulleted list of relevant course learning outcomes, module objectives, and sections in the course textbook that tie in with your project (refer to specific sample calculations, images, and sections).
• A bulleted list of at least three connections between the project and your life and/or academic/professional career.
