When most people are asked about conformity, they deny that they would ever "fall for it," and insist that they would hold true to their own beliefs.
But research tells us differently! Most people conform to social pressure, even when the behavior seems ridiculous. This video provides an example of social conformity.
Watch the video and then discuss the advantages and disadvantages of social conformity. Then, provide an example of social conformity in your own life.
