Nowadays much of the correspondence in (and out) of the workplace is conducted via email. Many people use texting, Skype, Instant Messengers, and/or Chat as well.
Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of electronic communication in one specific situation. Make sure you identify the situation (for instance, you might analyze the use of electronic communication in one of the following: to fire someone; to offer someone a job; to apply for credit; to provide detailed specifications for a complex process; or some other situation you may have encountered -- or may encounter in your future career).
