Organizational culture is a system of shared assumptions, values, and beliefs that affect behavior in an organization. Typically there is an overall organizational culture in addition to sub-cultures in various groups. Sometimes they blend well with each other and other times they conflict.
In addition to the Intellipath lessons, take a look at the following video for additional information and then answer the questions below:

1) Describe how organizational culture can contribute to a company's success (or failure.)
2) Discuss the organizational culture where you work-or did work.
3) Indicate what characteristics of the organizational culture have been the most successful (i.e. aggressiveness, stability, innovation, attention to detail, outcome based, people or team oriented.)
