Discuss impact of innovation-intraprenuarship in company


Problem:

Your suspicions have been confirmed with your CEO, the company does not really have a complete understanding of the impact of innovation and Intraprenuarship in the organisation.

Referring to your MBA entrepreneurial studies you remember an area that is of great importance to the success of innovation and Intraprenuarship in the organisation, it is the key area of management entrepreneurial skills and the role of management in the intrapreneurial process.

You consult with your senior managers across all the divisions and your findings indicate that there is no incentive for the mangers to pursue innovation. In some cases the managers are confused between what is meant by innovation and the meaning of Intraprenuarship.  Also you ask them to share with you their resumes and discover that all of the managers are qualified in their respective fields but none of them have experience in developing innovative ideas or managing entrepreneurial businesses or individuals.

You discuss this with myself as the CEO. Decide that you need to train the managers in intrapreneurship and innovation, however you need to convince me as the CEO.

You organise a meeting with the directors in order to convince and influence to invest in the resources and time in the training program.

Prepare a short note for the Board of Directors which highlights what you believe are three key issues relating to the impact of management at Robotics Ltd and the successful introduction of the innovation process. Also explain why the middle managers are important in the Corporate Intrapreneurial strategy at Robotics limited, including some of the key responsibilities for developing a innovative culture.
