We have examined two topics, economics and budgeting, which on the surface seem to have little connection with each other. This Discussion Question, however, requires you to scratch beneath the surface and think about some of the overlapping areas and also the points of departure between the two subjects.
Discuss how economics and budgeting have similar objectives and how budgeting is connected to economics. HINT: Think in terms of resource allocation and the factors affecting the demand and supply side of economics as a part of your answer.
