These forms of communication often work together to convey meaning.

Select two scenes from the episode and discuss the following:
Q1. What are the specific ways the characters convey meaning through BOTH verbal and non-verbal communication? Think about tone, volume, body movements, etc.
Q2. Why are certain components of the ways the characters communicate in the scene humorous?
Q3. What are some examples of code-switching in the selected scenes?
Q4. What are some of the cultural norms and/or biases expressed in these scenes?
Q5. Your paper should be well-structured and present a well-supported argument. What does that look like?
- An introductory paragraph which lays out a "road-map" for your paper.
- Well-formed paragraphs of substance which collect your thoughts into general groups.
- Transition sentences between different thoughts and arguments, and
- A conclusion which summarizes the paper.
