Competive advantage and SWOT Analysis

First, SWOT Analysis about cottonmouth Pill and Explain about each SWOT.

Second, Competive advantage is that cottonmouth pill helps and prevents a dry mouth with one dosage versus having to take multiple dosages.

The A1 Marketing Group has discovered a product that may benefit consumers around the world. The name is "Keep Your Whistle Wet" and the product is engineered to reduce and prevent cotton mouth when one may be exercising, sleeping, or as a daily supplement to ensure that nobody has to put up with that annoying dry mouth feeling. Cotton mouth can lead to bad breath and chapped lips among other things that nobody enjoys. We decided that we would need to dive into the market of over the counter products to get the word out about our product and to ensure to the public that we have developed a better way to get rid of the dry mouth. We realized that there was a need to come up with something that handled this because dry mouth is a common side effect of most prescription medicines such as depression, anxiety, acne, and sometimes even asthma. Not addressing a dry mouth can to damage to the salivary glands and ultimately lead to dehydration or nerve damage.

The symptoms of dry mouth are frequent thirst, sores or split lips, problems speaking or tasting and swallowing. On top of all of this, older people who need to wear dentures to chew their food and such may have problems wearing dentures. The solution before the "Keep Your Whistle Wet" pill was for doctors to reduce the dosage of the medicine that is causing the dry mouth, however the problem stands as what if you need a full dosage to fight a sickness and lowering the dosage would help dry mouth, but it wouldn't be as strong in fighting the sickness or ailment that the medicine was prescribed for in the first place. It has been a never ending cycle of people fighting dry mouths and we think we have found the perfect solution.

A big part of this marketing plan is to advertise our product over prime marketing channels such as television or newspaper for the older people who may not watch much television, but still read the daily paper. We think that spreading the word would make people at least give it a try because everyone has had a dry mouth at one point or another. We also want the brand of "Keep Your Whistle Wet" to be something that sticks with the consumer as a creative name to an over the counter pill. Brand Recognition is something that we think we can take advantage of because we would be essentially the only business in this market and perhaps the first over the counter dry mouth pill to have great success in the marketplace. Lastly, we would like to have incentives for people who follow us on social media. We could Tweet or Post something to our pages about a 5% off deal to anyone who prints out the coupon for it, but the only people who would see it would be people who are active in following our social media pages. We think that this could lead to clicks on our page which would eventually lead to more followers and a great way for us to interact with our customers on a daily basis with any complaints, questions, or recommendations about our product.
