Discussion Post: Transition Partners
Discuss briefly the process of transition for a student who is approaching transition age. What must the educational system do for planning for this studentt? What areas of this student's future life outside of school must be planned for during this process? Identify at least two local and national organizations that provide assistance to people with ID, and briefly describe the services they provide. In addition, locate at least one Christian organization that assists people with ID and briefly explain how their assistance differs from that provided by other organizations.
