Experiencing immobility and fragility Assignment: You will pick your disability blindly. Once you have picked your disability your instructor will explain what you will have to do in order to experience the disability.
You must pick one full day to wear/use the materials provide for your disability before your next class. After you have completed one full /tatwith your disability you will write a narrative of your experience with the disability.
In your narrative answer all the questions below. The narrative must be typed and assignment sheet should be attached to narrative. When assignment is turned in all walkers and cane must be returned or you will receive an automatic 0%.

Did you complete the whole day with your disability? What day did you choose to complete the assignment? How difficult was it to maneuver/ navigate with your disability? Was it hard for you to complete your ADLS?
If so How? How long did it take you? Did your feel safe in your surroundings? Did you go out in public? What was the most difficult part for you during the day? How can you apply what you have learned to caring for older adults?
