Devising adaptive chromatic filters to sensor signals

Project name :Real time chromatic processing of data streams using and adaptive filter window

The project is to devise and apply adaptive chromatic filters to sensor signals to characterize their effectiveness in extracting information for monitoring purposes. The determination of the profile and window width of the filters will be the key element in the work, which will be helped by the use of Fourier transformation or other algorithms for the identification of frequencies of different orders. Signals from sensors installed on operational transformers will be processed and results studied.

This window means the time span over the width of three filters .some signals have different characterictic frequencies from the others . so using adaptive window may help identifying the most important feature of the signal .
Project Rationale and Industrial Relevance:

The project is related to the monitoring of the health of power system equipment through the use of a variety of sensors and data compression to extract useful information. It contributes to an ongoing project for substation monitoring
