Assignment
Developing a research method
Requirement: Demonstrate that you understand the academic and methodological processes involved in reviewing research literature and developing a research plan.
1. Find and review one research article that relates to an aspect of the following very broad topic:
? What are some of the key issues for business entrepreneurs given consumers' concerns about environmental factors?
Use the article's findings to write your own specific research question.
2. Develop and describe the research method you could use to answer your own research question, and choose a method from the following three:
? face to face interview, or
? a survey, or
? focus group.
When you develop your research method please follow the marking schedule to fully describe how you would collect and analyse the data, and in an ethical way.
Do NOT supply a full list of every question you could ask in an interview, survey or focus group. Just include examples to illustrate points you are making about your method.
3. Evidence Log - Provide evidence of the work you have done to produce Assignment. This may include changes you made in your article selection and writing your question. It could include the books, articles, and databases you investigated. For guidance refer to the Marking Schedule for Assignment 2: Developing a research method.
Length: Approximately 2,000 words (not including Evidence log and references).
