PART 1:
Develop a power-point presentation on Older Person of Color: African Americans. Submit a power-point presentation & one discussion (open-ended) question about one of the topics listed below. The information presented must come from a scholarly source (peer review article, research website, and/or government webpage). Avoid using Wikipedia, Ask.com, etc.
This project should be in the form of a PowerPoint presentation, 10 slides in length (Excluding the First slide-Topic/Names and last Side-References, not including references. Include notes that elaborate on the actual slides (include this information in the notes area of each slide).The content needs to reflect an overview of Older Person of Color: African Americans to include but not limited to the following:
• Providing current facts and statistics (National, state, and local)
• Including individual, organizational, and/or community concerns, assets, resources that address the psychological, biological, and social factors associated with the identified needs (social issues) of your assigned population.
• Developing public health strategies that will reach your targeted population and/or health professionals who work with this population. It is important that you are culturally sensitive when developing your presentation.
Part 2:
And write a 5 page paper on the power point written in APA format.
