Option 1 Identify a job. Drawing from the material covered, design a recruiting system utilizing at least three different recruitment sources/techniques/methods. If you select internal or external recruitment, you need to specify the specific technique or techniques, as these are broad areas with several options within each area. Indicate how these sources will effectively generate candidates for the job you identified. Respond to a fellow student's post by providing a different recruitment technique. Explain how this will enhance the system created by your classmate. Avoid stating precisely what another student has stated.

Option 2  Identify a job. Next, design a selection procedure for the position taking into consideration the mini-lecture and the material. Do not use a position that was used as an example in the mini-lecture. Indicate the order of each step and how each step helps you to identify who is best/most qualified for the job. Respond to another student's post by indicating another selection device, tool or test that could be added to the procedure, indicating where in the procedure it should be placed. Explain how this would improve the procedure. Avoid stating precisely what another student has posted.

Option 3 Identify a job. Utilizing at least 3 different performance appraisal methods, develop a performance appraisal instrument. Consider the material presented Note that absolute and relative measures are not methods in and of themselves and should not be listed as methods. 360 degree systems are not methods either, focus on specific instrument types. Indicate how the combination is better than any single method you have used. Do not use a position that was used as an example in the mini-lecture.
