Problem:

Select (using LRFD) the lightest MC using A992 steel to carry axial tensile loads with 70 kips of dead load and 110 kips of live load. The MC is connected at its ends with three 1" diameter bolts in a line in each flange. The bolts are spaced at 4 inches. Edge spacing at the end is not yet known. Use case 2 of Table D3.1.
