Determine:

(a) The loads phase currents.
(b) The line currents.
(c) The power taken by the delta load

2. An unbalanced delta load has the follow impedances:

Z12 = (15+ j5)Ω

Z23 = (30)

Z31 = (415+ j15)Ω

it is supplied from a 3-phase synchronous generator via tables and Is connected across this balanced 3-phase line voltages given by:

calculate

(a) The current in each leg of the delta.
(b) The line currents.
(c) The power delivered to the load

3. Explain, with relevant diagrams, the difference between delta and star loads in 3-phase electrical systems and the voltages, currents and powers in each leg.
