Determine the force in each member below by using the methods of joints. one force is 4kN at 30 degrees at the tip of the first triangle, and another 3kN force is vertical at the opposite tip of the first triangle.. There are 8 members composed of 4 equilateral triangles. There is a pin and a roller 10m apart vertical. Horizontally, two members are 20m apart, where the first force is positioned at 30 degrees. The figure is one big triangle 20m by 40m split into 4 smaller triangles. On the left end where the pin is, two of the triangles is opposite of each other, together forming a box. Then there's a triangle to the right of it which has the 4kN force at the tip at 30 degrees. The last triangle is at the left end with a roller connected, at the tip of that triangle there is the 3kN vertical force. There are 3 vertical members; AD, DF, and BE. 3 horizontal members; AB, BC and DE. 3 members at an angle BD, EF, and CE. CEF forms the long angle of the large triangle. ADF forms the vertical members with the pin and roller at the ends. ABC froms 2 upper horizontal members, which has the 4kN force at 30 degrees at the tip of C. I need to calculate, AB, AD, BC, BD, BE, CE, DE, DF, and EF.
