Determine the final velocities of the ball and bat

If a baseball bat hits a ball, the impact can be approximately regarded as the elastic collision. Assume that a bat of 0.70 kg moving horizontally at 35 m/s encounters a ball of 0.15 kg moving at 39 m/s in the opposite direction. We can’t directly look at this collision as an elastic collision in one dimension, as both particles are in motion before collision (v_1=-35 m/s and v_2=39 m/s). Though, we can do so it we employ a reference frame that moves at a velocity V_0=-35 m/s in the direction of the initial motion of the bat. In this reference frame, the initial velocity of the bat is zero.

i) Determine the final velocities of the ball and bat, just subsequent to the collision?

ii) Determine the final velocities in the reference frame of the ground?
