The 50g mass stretches the spring 10cm. As system moves through air, the resistive force is supplied which is proportional to, but opposite velocity, with magnitude .01v. System is hooked to machine which applies driving force to mass which is equal to F(t) = 5 cos(4:4t). If system is started from equilibrium (no displacement, no velocity) Establish ODE and two ICs to explain the motion. Determine position of mass as the function of time, i.e. solve ODE.
