Design an inverting amplifier using an operational

1. Design an inverting amplifier using an operational amplifiersuch that the the voltage gain is 100. Write the formula for the output voltage. Design an adder using an operationalamplifier such that the output is the weighted sum of three inputs based on the following equation:
Vout = ¡(5Vin1+10Vin2+10Vin3)

2. Describe semiconductors, and the pn-junction diode. Be sure toinclude explanations of doping, p-type and n-type materials, the p-n junction, the depletion region, biasing thejunction, drift and diffusion currents, the equation for current through a diode, a drawing of the p-n junction, and the i-vcharacteristic curve for a p-n junction diode (label Vg, forward bias region, reverse bias region, and I0)

3. For the transistor circuit on the attached sheet, find ib andthe load line equation and demonstrate how they would be used to find the operating point of the transistor using acollector characteristic curve which you will draw. Be sure to label icq and Vceq.

4. At a design review for your first engineering project, youpresent the project to a panel of three senior engineers who willvote on whether your project should be funded or not. The seniorengineers will vote using an electrical switch with two positions.A vote of yes will be provide five volts at the output of theswitch. A vote of no will provide ground, or zero volts at theoutput. (See figure). If at least two of the  engineers vote yes,the project will be funded.
This will be indicated by a green LED being lit. Otherwise, the LEDwill not light and the project will not be funded. Design a logiccircuit that takes the output of the buttons and lights the LED ifa majority votes yes. Hint: The light 1 should come on if voter one and voter two vote yes, or if voter twoand voter three vote yes, or if voter one and voter three voteyes.

5. Explain how a motor works. Be sure to address how torque isgenerated in the motor, the commutator, as well as CEMF in  your explanation.

6. Explain how a generator works. Be sure to address countertorque, polarity of the generator, and the voltage and frequency ofthe output in your explanation.

7. A permanent magnet generator has Kt = 0:02Nm A . The terminal voltage is six volts. It is spinning at 2500 rpm. It is connectedto a load with a resistance of 30W. Determine the counter torqueand the power input.

8. A permanent magnet motor is driving a load that requires 0.08Nm.The motor data is:RA =2W, VA =12v, Kt =0:05Nm/A ,
KG = 0:004 V/RPM . Find the motors running speed and the power output.

9. Reduce the following boolean expression:
f (A;B;C) = ABC+ABC+ABC
