Design a two-levelcombinational logic circuit to implement theadditionof two 2-bit numbers. Donot use half adders or full adders as building blocks forthis circuit. Rather, follow the logic circuit design process discussed in class.
You may use NOT gates, ANDgates, and OR gates only. Do not use XORor XNOR gates.
There is no restriction onthe number of inputs to the AND and OR gates.
You donot need to consider a Carry-In into the addercircuit.
The inputs should bespecified as follows: A = a1a0, B= b1b0
(a) Specify the inputs andoutputs. How many outputs are required for a 2-bitadder?
(b) Derive the truth tablefor this 2-bit adder circuit.
(c) Use a K-Map to derivethe minimum SOP
(d) Use a K-Map to derivethe minimum POS
(e) Draw the circuit diagram for theSOP implementation.
