The students are also required to provide the overall material of project design & implementation report on CD (Total 3 CD; 2 CD should contain project presentation, project report and program if any, 1 CD should contain project report and project presentation only without complete program) to the concerned project supervisor.

Only the project design & implementation reports according to the above format will be considered and graded. The details about the structure of project design & implementation report are enclosed.

1. INTRODUCTION

The ECU in Today's generation is the key for the sale of automobiles. The automobiles industry has shown a drastic increase in sales all these are due to the advancement in the Technology. The project proposes a LIN based protocol control for the electronic system in the Car. This chapter gives a brief introduction about the project objectives Firstly describing background, objectives, aim, limitations and overview of the project report.

1.1 Project Back Ground:

To get some structure of all the hardware in a vehicle today some of ECU's (Electronic Control Unit) exists that handles the control of different capacities and connect with each other over some sort of on-board system. Each ECU in the vehicle is associated with various segments e.g. valves, sensors, actuators and servomotors from which it gathers data and to which it sends charges. Today the quantity of ECU's and especially the wiring in vehicles are at a level where one needs to take the expense and space required into genuine thought while including new usefulness and planning new models. Not only the expense and space for wiring is turning into an issue in present day vehicles additionally the expanding size of the model program that the new usefulness empowers. Distinctive models require diverse wiring at generation time and troubles emerge when the quantity of adaptations to be taken care of turns out to be too vast. The expense of adaptability turns out to be high.

1.2 Project objectives:

- The Speed of the vehicle can be varied for different speeds.

- Alarm Indication when Vehicle is in reverse gear and also when any obstruction behind.

- Temperature, GPS position and location Indication in the cluster.

1.3 Project overview
This Project contains of entire six units .The first unit gives the introduction about the scheme .The second unit gives the literature review of the scheme ,in the sense it gives how the improvement happened from previous methods .The third unit gives the how the project works and develop i,e in the methodology .The fourth unit gives the budget and Gantt chart of the scheme .The fifth unit the components of hardware and software is used to design the scheme and explains about the basic block diagram of the project .Finally the sixth section gives the conclusion and appendix of the project.

1.4 Project limitations:

- The System contains GPS which provides only the Co-ordinates and not the exact name of the location. .
- The system doesn't have a redundant for the Power supply failure
- The fuel Level Indication is Digital shows High and low as Values
- The System doesn't have the ABS to sensors to Locking of the wheel.
- The Mechanical Enclosure Issue is not been addressed.
