Assignment task: You are a newly hired marketing consultant for a textile company focusing on business-to-business sales. The textile company sells millions of dollars of products in the US, Canada, and Europe. But until recently, the company was family-run and tended to be rather old-fashioned in its approach to marketing. The company has an informational website, but no other social media presence

The textile company does not sell to consumers; you feel they are missing an opportunity. With the growth of Etsy and crafting groups, not to mention the people interested in design, you think some people would purchase textiles. So you decide to approach the board to encourage the company to sell to individual consumers and businesses. To make the argument, you will focus on only one potential target and try to make this one type of customer "real" for the Board of Directors.

Write minimum of a two-page executive summary for the Board of Directors that identifies one consumer target and where to potentially find them online. In your summary, include:

1. A succinct description of a consumer target market interested in purchasing textiles. This description should include a minimum of three (3) defining characteristics (age, lifestyle, interests, income, family size, occupation, opinions, personality traits, attitude, location, etc.). Each characteristic should be reviewed as to why it matters.

2. Identify a value that this target market may respond to and explain how to reflect that on at least one (1) social media site. (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.)

3. Review the customer journey map for this target market and pinpoint at least two (2) ways to make it more personal for the customer when they are on the website.
