Community health homeworks are used by health planners to identify, and prioritize health problems within a given community. To prioritize health programs and their development, a needs homework is used. There are four types of needs that should be considered in a needs homework. Although there is no single way to conduct a needs homework, the basic steps to conducting a needs homework can be identified.
Using the South University Online Library or the Internet, research about needs homework and the types of health needs in your community. Based on your research, create a 4- to 5-page Microsoft Word document that:
I. Describes the four types of needs and compares them. Explains the interaction of the four types and the role of each type of need in the community homework process.
II. Selects one of the four needs and provides an example of how this need can be applied to a health issue in your community. Describes the potential pitfalls of focusing a needs homework on a single need. Provides examples to support your assertions.
III. Identifies and describes the basic steps of conducting a needs homework and also explains the importance of each.
IV. Describes any additional steps that should be considered in the homework process.
Format your homework according to the give formatting requirements:
• The answer must be using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, typed, with one-inch margins on all sides.
• The response also includes a cover page containing the student's name, the title of the homework, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
• Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
