Introduction
For this assignment, write your 2 to 4 pages Introduction to the Integrative Project.
Instructions
Now that you have a research question, you are prepared to write the project introduction. The purpose of the introduction is to explain and justify how you plan to answer the research question:
1) Introduce the purpose and describe key features of Chapters 2 through 5.
a. Remember, to meet this goal, you must begin with a description of the research problem and how the research problem led to the current research question.
2) Include your research question in interrogative form, such as How do preschool teachers who recognize possible cognitive delay in their pupils describe their attempts to help parents help their children?
3) Summarize briefly what we know so far about the phenomena under investigation.
a. Describe what we need to know to advance the knowledge base.
4) Address briefly the major themes identified in the literature review.
5) Summarize the design approach.
a. Identify whether it is qualitative or quantitative.
b. Identify the target population, procedures such as survey, interview, observation, quasi-experimentation, and the plan for analysis.
6) Summarize the expected results briefly.
7) Summarize implications for the research community.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
o Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
