Assignment Task: Diego is six years old and just finished kindergarten. His parents decided to bring him to an educational psychologist for intelligence testing. Diego completes the WISC-V, and a few weeks later, his parents sit down with the psychologist to go over the results. For each of the following questions, imagine that you are the psychologist speaking with Diego's parents.

a. The report says that Diego has an IQ of 123. Describe what an IQ score represents, and broadly speaking, how would you describe Diego's level of intelligence to his parents? How can you tell this from his IQ score?

b. Moving on to the subscores of the WISC-V, you see that Diego's score on the Verbal Comprehension Index was quite high, while his score on the Fluid Reasoning Index was somewhat lower. Briefly explain what each subscale measures, and for each, briefly describe one of the tasks Diego may have completed as part of obtaining this score.
