One of the ways we can do this is by building resiliency in children. Resilience is "the ability to overcome serious hardship" (Harvard University, Center on the Developing Child, n.d., para. 1). By understanding the impact of these factors on children's behavior, we can teach them strategies to help them recover from hardship and challenges. In the discussion this week, you will have the chance to apply some resilience strategies to the children in the ECD 410 Behavioral Methods Case Studies.
