Research ONE vendor/HRMS software that will address the needs of human resource management and its activities such as payroll, recruitment, performance management, etc. (with APA references and in-text citations).
1. Describe the vendor's product. For example is the software designed for Enterprise Resource Planning and big business? How do you know?
Is it Cloud technology?
Does it offer interactive HR modules where information is shared between modules such as payroll, performance management, training? In this way the performance module would contain the latest employee performance appraisal and this could link to the payroll module for a raise in salary. The two modules 'talk to' one another, interconnect and data can be transferred.
Is it a simple system to collect basic employee data made for small business and the selection of a few HR modules? For example, a basic system might collect only employee data such as name, address, and a resume. The data can't be transferred to the employee profile module.
2. What might be a downside of this selected HRMS technology?
For example, does the technology need constant updates to fix bugs, does the vendor offer technical support or are you on your own?
