Pick a toy to review. Try to pick a toy geared toward the early childhood years (2-6). You can pick a toy by going to a store and taking a picture of a toy. If you have access to toys, you can use a real toy throughout your video. You can also go online shopping and select a toy that way and incorporate pictures into your review.
A. Describe the toy and the recommended age range of the toy.
B. Report your ratings for your toy on durability, safety, attractiveness, and stimulation, and briefly explain why you gave these scores. (1=poor, 2=fair, 3=average, 4=good, 5=excellent).
C. Determine how your toy is designed for child safety and to stimulate the child's development. What does this toy do to improve development and in what ways?
D. Discuss whether you would recommend your chosen toy to a parent who wants to help their child's development. If you would not recommend it, please explain why not.
E. Conclude with recommendations for improvement of early childhood toys.
