Overview
This reaction and response homework explores theories, perspectives, and types of motivation.
Task
• Step I: Review the major theories of motivation.
Review the major theories of motivation in this lesson and in at least two articles. For example, you might read these articles:
o Theories of Human Motivation
o Employee Motivation
• Step II: Answer the questions.
Answer the following questions:
o What is motivating you to attend school?
o What motivates you generally? Consider the arousal, incentive, and self-determination theories.
o Where do you fall in Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs?
o What strategies do you use to motivate yourself?
• Step III: Report your findings.
Write a one-page report on your motivators based on the major theories of motivation.
Format your homework according to the give formatting requirements:
• The answer must be using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, and typed, with one-inch margins on all sides.
